Dan O’Brien is an internationally produced and published playwright and poet whose recognition includes a Guggenheim Fellowship in Drama, the Horton Foote Prize, the Edward M. Kennedy Prize, two PEN America Awards, and the Fenton Aldeburgh Prize. His fourth poetry collection, Our Cancers, is available from Acre Books (University of Cincinnati Press), and a collection of his essays on playwriting, A Story That Happens,is out now from CB Editions in London. http://www.danobrien.org/biography 


Executive Director and co-founder of StateraArts, Melinda Pfundstein is a director, actor, educator, administrator, arts consultant, advocate for women in the arts, and mother of three children. She holds an MA in Arts Administration from Southern Utah University, where she also completed her undergraduate work in theatre and dance performance, and served on the faculty as assistant professor of theatre arts. She has acted and directed at regional theatre companies across the U.S., including at the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Lake Dillon Theatre Company, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Renaissance Theaterworks, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, The Skylight, and First Stage Children’s Theatre. https://stateraarts.org/pfundstein
